Josh helps people turn ideas into products that make money.

With 15+ years as an industrial designer and 10+ in the fitting and machining trade, Josh is just as comfortable talking strategy with a client as he is on the tools in the workshop. That mix is a big reason DA’s designs get made properly. He also believes industrial design gives you great research, and that it’s given DA a real advantage in business.

Day to day, Josh looks after business development and strategy, hosts DA’s Expert Hours and gets stuck into detail design. He loves seeing people build businesses that do some good, and he gets a kick out of finding practical, commercial answers to tricky problems.

Josh is on the board of Dantia, supporting growth and job creation projects across Lake Macquarie. He also enjoys sharing what he’s learnt with design students and business owners.

Outside work, you’ll find him tinkering on a DIY project with his wife Aimee, or mucking about outdoors with their kids.
